‘Food on Wheels – A Market-political approach’ at ICR22 in Liverpool

The competitive paper “Food on wheels – Towards a Market-political approach” accepted at the 11th Workshop on Interpretative Consumer Research in Liverpool, 2022.

The study explores the process by which market actors take an active role in market dynamic (and thus shape market development) to better understand and develop theoretical conceptualizations connected to change agents such as consumers as producers, working consumers and consumer entrepreneurs in the creation of symbolic market resources. I develop insights from an ethnographic inquiry in a contemporary street food movement in the Nordic region.
